Seven Samurai 20xx is an exciting adventure game that features seven main characters. In order to solve the problem of an enemy humanoid invasion, this team joins forces and goes on a journey to defeat their enemies. All of the seven samurai have their own reasons to join the fight.
In the beginning, Natoe, who is the main hero of the game, is in a village when he comes across many invading humanoids. He battles with them throughout the village. Yet, Natoe does not want to get involved with the struggle but begins to continue on his journey when he is stopped by an older warrior who convinces him that the humanoids will continue to be a problem if they do not do something about them. Natoe agrees and the two set off to add to their group and help them be victorious.
Jodie, one of the characters who join the group tries to convince Natoe to return home. She knows that Natoe has not completed all of his Samurai training there and thinks this was not a smart decision. Jodie is biased in her position, however, because Natoe’s teacher is Jodie’s father. Being the daughter of a master swordsman, Jodier can defend herself against the attacks of the humanoids and help the group.
The story of the game advances in chapters. It is modeled after the cartoon 7 Samurai that aired in Japan in 2004. Players of the game can expect to be rewarded by the rapid pressing of the attack button, as enemies are defeated with numerous blows. The bosses are the hardest to beat however, being more intelligent than the different types of humanoids that the players will encounter throughout the game. There are also hidden bosses that have side stories and are optional to beat.
